reflections
prelim
The prelim period didn't come with many expectations, but my main goal was simple: to pass. The most challenging part for me was memorization, as I don't particularly enjoy it. However, I appreciated how chill my professor was, which made the discussions engaging and enjoyable. I (tried) to hand over my assignments as soon as possible, and, well, doing them as soon as possible, which helped keep things from piling up. Although I was a bit disappointed with my low score, I should have expected it.
midterm
By the midterm period, I felt like I'd grown a bit closer to my classmates, which made the overall experience more enjoyable. To be honest, I didn't feel particularly connected to any specific tasks, though, I did make an effort to actually study this time, as opposed to just rushing through assignments. But still, despite those best efforts, I struggled with consistency in studying and managing my time. At the end, I realized EVEN MORE that my communication skills are still a work in progress, and I have room to improve in this area. As they say, the biggest room in the world is the room for self-improvement.
